The Pioneer in Labellers and Barcode Printers

Founded in 1940 by the late Chairman, Yo Sato, SATO Corporation is a publicly listed company in Japan with a network of subsidiaries, Business Partners and Solution Providers - Worldwide!

Building on over 60 years experience, having introduced one of the first hand labellers in 1962 and the world's first thermal transfer label printer, SATO offers a wide range of desktop label printers and OEM print engines designed for use in tough industrial environments, low-cost printers which meet the demands for low volume printing requirements, and portable printers for mobile applications. Tag printers for the textile industries are also available, as well as a selection of hand labellers, ideal for the retail industry.

The recent OEM Modules and desktop printers from SATO have been enhanced with state-of-the-art technology, reducing throughput time to the minimum. SATO's new generation of RFID printers, which use radio frequency to read and write data on a "smart" label, are available as HF, as well as UHF solutions and fully comply with the latest industry standards.

Complementing the printer range, SATO also supplies Carbon Ribbons and a great variety of SATO Labels. Using SATO Consumables ensures the best results from your SATO printers.

A broad selection of labelling software completes the product portfolio. The choice includes a market-leading suite of low-cost, comprehensive Windows®-based 32-bit labelling programs, which interface seamlessly with ERP systems.
